Privacy policy
The Rombo Code Barcelona processes the data users provide when contacting us, booking or interacting with the website in order to manage requests, bookings, communications and activity measurement.

Data processed
We may process identification data, contact details, technical browsing information, traffic source and interaction events with booking buttons, WhatsApp or forms.
Purposes
Handling enquiries, facilitating bookings, improving the web experience, measuring campaigns, preventing fraud and complying with legal obligations.
WhatsApp messages
If you give us your phone number and expressly agree to receive WhatsApp messages from The Rombo Code, we use it to notify you about your visit: for example, when your group photo or keepsake is ready, or to remind you of something about your booking. We do not send advertising this way and we do not message minors.
We process your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, the content of the messages you send us and the delivery status of those we send you. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying «STOP» (or «BAJA») to any message or by writing to barcelona@therombocode.es; from then on we will not message you on WhatsApp again.
Messages are sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., which acts as data processor. Meta may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We keep this data while you maintain your consent and it is necessary for the stated purpose.
Anonymous visit measurement
To know how many people visit the site, which pages they view and where they come from, we record every visit even if you have rejected cookies. This record uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and it only contains the page visited, the page you came from, the campaign you arrived through (if the address shows it), the type of action (for example, pressing “Book”) and a technical code.
That code is calculated on our server from your IP address and your browser, using a key that changes every day, and it only serves to group the actions of a single visit. We do not store your IP address, name, email or any contact detail in this record, and one day's code cannot be linked to another's. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) processes the site's technical requests, including the IP address, in order to serve the site and keep it secure.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding and improving how the site is used (art. 6.1.f GDPR). We keep these records for as long as they are useful to analyse the site's activity. You can object at any time by writing to barcelona@therombocode.es. If you accept cookies, measurement adds identifiers stored in your browser, as explained in the Cookie policy.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by writing to barcelona@therombocode.es. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
