An escape room works as a team activity because nobody can sit back and watch. The room asks everyone to observe, talk and decide, and you do it for 60 real minutes against a clock that does not forgive.
The Rombo Code Barcelona has 6 rooms and 4 original games, designed and built on site. Up to 42 players per hour fit across shifts, so the same plan works for a small department and for a whole company.
No experience or fitness is needed, and there are no scares or actors. You get out by thinking, and the challenge is the same for the team leader as for the newest hire.
What a team gets out of it
This is what usually shows up inside the room:
- Communication. A clue nobody says out loud is a clue wasted. The team learns to say what it sees and to listen to what others see.
- Leadership under pressure. With the clock running, someone gives orders, someone suggests and someone doubts. Everyone finds the role that comes naturally.
- Trust. People ask for help, admit mistakes and celebrate each other's wins. That stays with you when you walk out.
- Team decisions. Several puzzles are open at once and time is short, so you have to split up tasks and prioritise.
- Meeting people from other departments. Mix the teams and watch colleagues who barely said hello in the corridor start talking.

Whole venue to yourselves
You can also book the venue exclusively for your group, with the 80 m² common area for your team.

Message us and we will organise the activity, the shifts and the booking with you by email, WhatsApp or phone.
Before and after the game
The venue has an 80 m² common area with a projector. Use it before or after the game for meetings, presentations or to talk through the game as a group.
Catering can be organised in the common area. Message us with the date and the number of people and we will talk it through.
You can also book the whole venue exclusively.

How many people can come?
Up to 14 people can book directly online in Rombate mode. For more than 14, message us: we split the group into shifts and rooms, up to 42 players per hour across the 6 rooms.
How long does the activity last?
The game lasts 60 minutes. If you want to use the common area before or after, for a meeting, a presentation or catering, we take it into account when we put the plan together.
Do we need to be fit or experienced?
No. There are no physical challenges or scares: the rooms are solved by observing, thinking and talking to each other. Only in El Arca de Dalí do you need to be able to climb a step ladder.
Can catering be organised?
Yes, catering can be organised in the venue's common area. Message us with the date and the number of people and we will talk it through.
Can we get an invoice?
Yes. Request it in writing at barcelona@therombocode.es, with the company details and the date of the activity.
Which languages do the website and booking work in?
Spanish, Catalan and English. If your group has any language needs, message us before booking.
